$22,000 Grant Supports Essential Services in Iowa City

April 24, 2026

April 2026The Caitlin Clark Foundation is proud to announce a $22,000 grant to the University of Iowa Health Care Stead Family Children’s Hospital, supporting its work to care for young patients and their families during some of life’s most difficult moments.

Hospital stays can be overwhelming for children and the people who love them. Families are often navigating uncertainty, long days, unexpected needs, and the emotional weight of caring for a child in the hospital.

This gift reflects the Foundation’s commitment to helping children and families feel supported, comforted, and cared for when they need it most.

Stead Family Children’s Hospital provides specialized care and support for children across Iowa and beyond. From medical treatment to family-centered services, the hospital helps meet the needs of young patients while also surrounding parents, caregivers, and siblings with resources during a challenging season.

I’m a big believer that the right support at the right time can change the trajectory of a person’s day, and sometimes even their future. I’m grateful to support the Stead Family Children’s Hospital and the important work they do for individuals and families in the community.

Through partnerships like this, the Caitlin Clark Foundation continues to invest in organizations that remove barriers, strengthen families, and create greater opportunity for young people and their communities.

Caitlin’s passion and joy on the court inspire her Foundation’s work off the court. The Caitlin Clark Foundation exists to open doors for kids to learn, grow, and thrive through education, nutrition, and sports.
